The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge 6/29

The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge is up and running.  Our sponsor for this month has been Drawn with Character.  For this challenge I used Kitty with Heart and colored it with Copics.  I made the flower with baby wipes.  I was using Ken Oliver's Color Burst powders and used the baby wipe to clean it up.  I liked the look it gave the baby wipe, so I let it dry and then die cut it with MFT Layered Rose die. The brads are from my stash.  The dragon fly die cut was left over from another project.  I don't remember what die I used for it.  I cut the doily on my Cameo.  I also used the Cameo to print and cut the image.  The background paper is ancient.  I found it in my stash.  It is by Creative Imaginations

The Outlawz Progressive Challenge for June

With a little difficulty, since I have had eye surgery and can't see worth a darn, I managed to get this card done.  I used a sketch challenge from earlier this year.  I used the pre-colored image because it is quite difficult for me to color an image at this time.  The green papers are Core-dinations emblossed cardstock and the yellow is Creative Imaginations Banana Leaf paper.  The flowers are Prima and the ribbon is from the current Really Reasonable Ribbon Club Assortment.  Beccy's Place provided the image.

From the Heart Progressie Challenge for June

It took awhile to make this card as simple as it is because I am still recovering from the eye surgery I had earlier this month.  It will be another month or so before the eyes heal enough to be tested for new glasses.  In the meantime, I am unable to just sit like I normally do and make cards.  Everything is very blurry.  I can use a magnifier but that gets to be a real pain, literally and figuratively.  I chose a really simple layout for this card.

Black cardstock - Recollections
Blue carsdstock - Core-dinations
White cardstock - X-press It Blending Card

The Outlawz Sketch Challenge June 8

Another Wednesday means another challenge at The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  Our sponsor for this month is Drawn with Character.  I chose to use Bird House Spring Love.

I used Recollections grey cardstock for the backgrounds and card base.  The printed paper is from an old Stampin' Up collection.  Bling is from Want2Scrap.  Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I colored the image with Copic markers.

The Outlawz Sketch Challenge 6/1

Morning Peeps.  As this post goes live, I am undergoing the second eye surgery.  Hopefully, this will be the last one.

The sponsor for this challenge at The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge is Drawn with Character.  I used Raccoon for my image.  A few month back, I cut a lot of my partial sheets of cardstock and dp into sizes I use for my cards.  This card is made completely with those cuts.  I don't know anymore who the makers are for most of it.  I do know the brown flowery dp and the gold behind the image is from Basic Grey and the both of the other dp is from Authentique. The embellishment are from my stash and are unknown.  I colored the image with Copic markers and popped it with foam tape.  While I followed the sketch, I didn't use all of the elements shown in the sketch.

CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge June 2016

Hi Peeps,
While this is being posted, I am undergoing the second corneal surgery.  The first one went well.  It's just that my vision will be impaired until I can get new glasses after the second eye heals, which won't be until roughly August 1.  In the meantime, I am having to depend on everybody to take me places since I can't drive.

Anyway, this is my DT card for Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for this month. It's either late for Memorial Day or early for July 4.  I'm not sure.

I used papers from my stash.  I think the background paper is from K&Company and the blue patterned paper is from Michael's.  The image is a cling stamp from Stamper's Best called Statue of Liberty.  Ribbon and stars are from Michael's.

I used The Sweet Stop sketch SSS200.
