Happy Thanksgiving

Can you take one more owl card?  Does it look like I like owls?  Well, here is what I think might be my last owl card for this Thanksgiving season.  It is made with an .svg file from Miss Kate Cuttables.  The ribbon is from a package I received several years ago.  I just untied the bow and saved the ribbon.  The stickers are from Basic Grey Indian Summer.  The stamp is an Impression Obsession from a couple years ago.

I just love fall and the colors that represent it.  Here is another card for the season.  Actually, it is a Thanksgiving card due to the dp I used.  I cut the Miss Kate Cuttables image using my Silhouette Cameo.  I think the ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The dp is from Karen Foster.  The card base is Stampin' Up.  I added Crackle Accents to the cornucopia to give it a little character.  I added Stickles to the pumpkin and inside of the cornucopia.

The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge 9/23

Time for The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge again.  These Wednesdays seem to roll around pretty fast.  Our sponsor for this month is Rick St. Dennis.   For my card, I used some stuff from my stash.  The patterned paper and ribbon have been in my stash for a very long time.  So long, that I have no idea who the manufacturers are.  The cardstock is from Recollections and  Bazzill.  I cut the scalloped squares with my Cameo.  I printed and cut the image on the Cameo, too, then colored it with Copics.  I  used a Silhouette Die D-lites die, Fantastic Flourish One,  to cut the flourish with DCWV foil cardstock.  The sentinent is from Deedee's Digis Christmas Cuties collection.

Happy Harvest

I wanted to play around with something other than images for this card.  I used this cute file from Miss Kate Cuttables.  I am making this particularly for SendASmile4Kids.  Everything on the card came from my stash.  I'm not even sure what that mesh piece is called.  I just call it a mesh ribbon.  Original, huh?

I wanted to play around with the half circle card.  I tried it once before, but it didn't work out well.  I decided I would work with it until I was happy this time.  Here is the final result.  I used the Scripture verse from Word Art Wednesday for this week.  The card base is a Silhouette file.  I designed the card on my Cameo then cut all the pieces.

The Outlawz Progressive Challenge for September

I cut several card bases in Fall colors today using my Silhouette Cameo.  This shape is a side step card.  So, I decided to make a Fall card with this great image from Nicecrane, Flower Children #4.  I colored the image with Copic markers and Wink of Stella Glitter Pens.  All of the cardstock bling is from Basic Grey and Bo Bunny.  The DP is also from Bo Bunny.  I've had all of these materials for a couple of years or more and decided it was time to use it.  The bling is from Want2Scrap.

The cardstock die cuts were adhesive backed so I sprinkled a little baby powder on the exposed adhesive to "de-sticky" it.  I learned that from a scrapbooking teacher several years ago.  So I always keep a travel size baby powder in my supplies.

Another Deedee's Card

I liked this little guy so much, I decided to make another card using him for Deedee's  Digi's progressive challenge for this month.  While I had my case with the fall papers and embellies out, it was an easy job.  I was playing with cutting out the various card shapes and using Fall colors so this was a normal progression.

Same papers as last card, same image set (Leaf Your Cares Behind), same paper collection, same glitter pen.   The card base is a side step A2 size card from Silhouette.  The only new thing that the last card didn't have is I added some bling from Want2Scrap and the leaves from my stash. I bought the leaves about four years ago when I visited a friend in Oregon and just now opened the package.

Deedee's Digis Progressive Challenge for September

This is a progressive challenge.  If you purchase the current se from Deedee's Digis and enter a project this month, you will automatically receive the image for the following month free.  The image set this month is "Leaf Your Cares Behind."  I used the pre-colored elephant and added a little clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen to the pink in his ears.  I printed and cut the image using my Silhouette Cameo.  The A2 size center step card is also a Silhouette image cut with Bazzill cardstock.  The DP is from Basic Grey Indian Summer 6x6 pad.  The stickers are also from the same Basic Grey collection.  The metallic leaves are from Michaels that I've had in my stash for a few years.

Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge

It's September 1 and that means it's time for the new patterned paper challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge.

I reached into my stash of things and came up with this card.  Some of the things I don't remember where they originally came from.  What I can say, is the image and sentiment are from Deedee's Digis. I enhanced the image with Stickles (ice cream) and Liquid Pearls(the dish).  The Ribbon is from Recollections and the pearls are from Want to Scrap.  I got the bow die from Frantic Stamper but don't remember the maker. The design is an adaptation of a sketch I found online.  It doesn't even resemble the original sketch.  I just took it and ran with it and this is what happened.
