Triple Easel

This is my first attempt at a triple easel card.  I have been wanting to do one for a long time.  After doing this one, it might be a long time before I do another one.  It looked hard.  It was not super hard to do, but I had problems understanding some of the directions.  After cutting the cardstock, I realized I misunderstood the directions and had to cut it again.  Then I had problems where to place the pieces.  After awhile, it finally came together.  I really do need to do another one soon so that I get my confidence back.  I saw a post on Heartfelt Creations the other day with this technique and remembered that I had printed out directions from Splitcoast Stampers a year or so ago.  My friend, Rozy, got me to do it finally.  I'm not 100% satisfied with it, but at least I did it.

I used Recollections pink cardstock and Basic Grey Sugared designer paper.  I cut the card shapes and the leaves with Spellbinder Dies.  The green cardstock was from my stash and I don't know who the maker is.  It is bright green on one side and metallic on the other side.  I used the metallic side for my die cuts.  The flowers are from Prima. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.

  1. Oh my gosh--your card is soooooo cool! I've never seen a triple easel card, and the branches of leaves that you added give it that much more dimensions. I can never get enough of flowers, and the colors you have chosen are lovely. My 13-year old son said, "That actually looks like a cool card." :)
