Happy Birthday Cupcake Again.

I loved this cute elephant image from Drawn with Character so much that I decided to use it again for the Wednesday Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz.

The orange cardstock is from Core'dinations and is embossed although it doesn't show on the picture.  I colored the image with Copics.  The banner is a Miss Kate Cuttables file that I cut with my Cameo.  I also used the Cameo print and cut feature for the image panel and background.  The bling is from Michael's $1 bins and was purchased at different times.

Wednesday Sketch Challenge - The Outlawz 4/22

Morning Peeps.  Wednesday means it's time for the sketch challenge at The Outlawz.  Our sponsor this month is Drawn with Character.  I really like this goofy looking reindeer so I made two cards with him.  After I photographed this card and posted it to the Outlawz site, I decided to add some Ice White Pearl Pen to the snow but was too lazy to re-photograph it.

I used Recollections black cardstock and Bright Christmas 6x6 paper pad.  As usual, I colored the image with Copics after printing and cutting it out on my Cameo.  The ribbon is Celebrate It.  Flowers are Recollections.  I guess it helps to live only a half mile from Michaels.  I'm not sure it it's a blessing or a curse.  The bling is from Want2scrap.

Tuesday Throwdown #241

Hi Peeps!  It's time for the new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown.  Our sponsor for this challenge is Lacy Sunshine.  The theme is Up in the Air/Things that Fly.  I translated that to be anything with wings.   I found this cute image called "Alice Tea Party Enchantress" and she has wings so I am assuming that she can fly.

I colored her with Copics and used both gold and silver Wink of Stella Glitter Pens for her wings.  I used the print and cut feature on my Cameo to cut the image with a scalloped background.  The lace ribbon is from Reasonably Reasonable Ribbon.  I added bling from Want2Scrap and the sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers.  The card base is from Hero Arts and the colored cardstock is from my scrap stash. To give a little dimension, I popped the image with foam tape.

The Outlawz April Progressive Challenge

Hi Peeps!  I have been working all morning on trying to figure out what to do with this adorable froggie.  That was after searching in my digi files on my computer for the digi.  I downloaded it when I received it and "toadily" forgot where I saved it.  I had to look through all my zillion files to find it.  I decided to make  him the focal point of my card and printed and cut him at 4" with my Cameo.   Then I cut an oval frame with the same cardstock as the base.  He is colored with Copics.  I popped him with foam tape to give a little more dimension to the card. The dragonflies are also a Silhouette file.  The sentiment is from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  I cut the card base with Core'dinations embossed cardstock.  The dp is from Echo Park Hello Summer 6x6 pad.

Hello Peeps,

It is a monthly progressive challenge so make sure you go to the site and get your image for this month.  You will automatically receive the image next month if you enter this month.  The image for April is Hamlet PigWit Being Shy.

I used DCWV Fun in the Sun Summer Adhesive cardstock for my base.  The die cut is Tim  Holtz Alterations Lattice die.  For the die cut and the filler pieces, I used American Crafts Foil cardstock.  I cut Hamlet with the print and cut feature on my Cameo, colored him with Copics and popped him with foam tape.  The sentiment is part of the monthly freebie.

The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up Challenge for April

Rich reds, glorious golds and lush greens.  These are just a few of the colors generally associated with Christmas.  However, you can also find, shades of pink, beautiful blues and royal purples during the holidays as well.  This month's challenge is all about colour.  However, instead of the typical colors one might see around the holidays, we want to see cards using non-traditional colors.
In order to have a chance to win the prize from our wonderful guest sponsor this month, make sure that your card showcases at least THREE of the colors from the palette below.  If you do follow the optional theme, be sure to add FT after your name so that we include you in the draw for the prize.

Remember, you don't need to follow the theme to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month, and have your name thrown into the year end draw for some extra digital goodies.  You only need to follow the theme if you want a chance to win this month's sponsored prize of a $12.00 gift card from Sami Stamps.

DS4J mid-challenge 111 - Sketch

Morning peeps.  It's time for the mid-challenge at DigiStamps4Joy.  Tonnie is hosting this challenge.  She chose to use a sketch as her theme.  Although I am no longer on the DT, I made this card because I love the sketch.  I used "Ellie's Flowers" for my image.  The image is available in the online store here.  I colored it with Copic markers.  I used Recollections cardstock for the black layers  The designer paper is from Authentique 6x6  Blissful collection.  The crocheted flower was done for me by my good friend in Oregon.  The flower centers are Cantaloupe Perfect Pearls.
