Watering Can

Morning Peeps!  It's time for the progressive challenge at The Outlawz. Sandi was kind enough to let us use one of her digis for this challenge.  If you haven't already joined the challenge, now is the time.

I used OWH sketch #169 as my inspiration for this challenge.  I had to flip the sketch horizontally.  At first, I cut the image, colored it and adhered it to the card.  I didn't like the way it looked and thought I would redo it and flip the image.  That sounded like a lot of work because I would have had to resize the image, print it and cut it.  I had taken the image off the card when it struck me that all I had to do was put the circle on the right side and then the watering can would look okay.  And would be a lot less work not to mention less time consuming.  I like the looks of it much better than my first attempt.

  1. I love that watering can filled with beautiful spring time flowers and you did a great job with it. It was nice that you saved yourself a bit of time and energy the way you reworked it. I can't wait to see some pretty flower around here in New England but I'm afraid it will be a while before that happens. Have a good day.

  4. This design worked out terrific, Margaret, in spite of your initial struggles. I really like the progression of pearls, from small to large, across the bottom.
