The Outlawz Sketch Challenge January 28

Morning Peeps.  It's The Outlawz time again.  Beccy's Place is still our sponsor for this last January challenge.  I used Strawberry Patch.  You can find it in the food section.

In keeping with my resolution to use up my scrapping papers before buying new, I pulled this striped paper from my stash.  I embossed the red frame with Cuttlebug African Batik folder.  The image was pre-colored.  Ribbon, rhinestones and flowers are from my stash also.  Pearl bling is from Want2Scrap.

DS4J #108 Bingo

Morning Peeps.  We are midway in challenge #108 over at DigiStamps4Joy.  It is being hosted by Asmah.  You can find more of her beautiful work here.  She chose to do a Bingo challenge.  It works just like other bingo games using three elements from the same vertical columns, horizontal rows or diagonals.  For my card, I chose to use the first column - Die or Punch, Heart, Buttons.  I am using the image from the store called "Bunny Love."

I cut the image and the mat using my Cameo.  Then I colored the image with copic markers.  I also used a red Copic marker to color the large bling heart.   The smaller hearts are colored with Wink of Stella Red Glitter Pen.  The buttons are from American Craft.

Outlawz Progressive Challenge - January

The sponsor for January for The Outlawz Progressive Challenge is All Dressed Up.  They provided this adorable image.  In keeping with my plan to make a couple Christmas cards each month, I made a Christmas theme card.

My Cameo got quite a workout on this card.
I used it to cut the base (center step card).
I cut the background oval shapes (nested frames - tags).
I cut the snowflakes (snowflake set).
I used Miss Cate Cuttables to cut the present
I used the print and cut feature for the image and the sentiment.

I colored the image with Copic markers.  I used mostly papers from my scrap pile.

DS4J Sunday Release

DS4J's first Sunday Release of the new year can be found here.  In spite of the new EU-VAT tax rules, Margy is keeping the store open.  DS4J is alive and well!  This image is one from Riette.  It's called "Teacups."

Since I am still not up to par healthwise, I quickly made this card for the release.  I don't think it's one of my better ones, but at least I got it made.

I printed and cut the image with my Cameo.  Then I used the offset feature and just cut the deep pink shadow.  Copics were used to color the image.  I popped it with foam tape.  The medallions are from my stash.  I don't know who makes them.  The sentiment is from Kanban Crafts and the sentiment die cut is from a Stampin' Up die.

January Stamp of the Month Challenge

It's time for the monthly progressive challenge at From the Heart Stamps.  The stamp this month is this cute little snowman.

I used a piece of American Crafts cardstock to create the card base.  The card is A2, 5.5 in. by 4.25 in.  For the lavender layer I used my Cameo and cut a scalloped rectangle with a piece of AC cardstock from the winter collection.  I used the print and cut feature to cut the image on white cardstock from my stash.  Then I colored the image with Copic markers.  The snowflake is left over from making my Christmas cards.  I think it is AC metallic silver.    I popped the snowflake with foam tape.

For my first card as DT member, I have chosen to use the image "Father Time" from our sponsor for this challenge, Limited Runs.   It works right along with the theme for this month, "Father Time."  Make a card and post it on the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up page.  The challenges for this site will run from the first of each month to the last day of the month.  Winners of each challenge will be posted on the 8th of each month.

I used the image "Father Time" from our sponsor and colored it with Copics.  I used the print and cut on my Cameo to print it and cute it out.  I popped the image with 3M foam tape.
