DS4J Sunday Release - Cleo's Walk

Ok, so I had some time on Thursday to do a card for the Sunday Release at DS4J.  I got the card done, photographed it and tried to put it into the album on the DT page.  Facebook would not cooperate with me.  I ended up having to do a total clean up of my computer, cleared browser, cleaned out cookies, etc.  Nothing.  In frustration, I turned  the computer off and went to bed.  Lo and behold, when I tried to enter the picture this morning, it was like nothing ever happened.  Worked like a charm.  So,  here is my card.  I used Cleo's Walk from the DS4J store.  You can find it here.

The card is quite plain but I was trying something.  In my mind, it worked much better.  I embossed the pink panel with a Anna Griffin embossing die.  The frame is cut with my Cameo.  I also used the Cameo cut and print feature to cut the image which I then colored with Copics.  The gold frame is from DCWV metallic 6x6 pad.  Bling is from Want2Scrap.  Sentiment is from Impression Obsession.

Happy Birthday Balloons

I colored this image from DigiStamps4Joy with colored pencils.  It is called "Happy Birthday" and you can find it here.   I used the print and cut feature on my Cameo to cut it out.  The pink is from Stampin' Up.  I used a corner punch from Martha Stewart and a scrap of ribbon from my stash to complete the card.

Lady Anne's Christmas Challenge, Card 2

I'm making great headway on my Christmas cards.  I used the same image for this card as I did for the first one.  It is from DigiStamps4Joy and is the image for the July Christmas challenge over there.  You can find it here.

I had made the background up a long time ago when I was using up scraps.  I cut some snowflakes with my Cameo and added them to the red strip.  I also used the print and cut feature on the Cameo to print and cut the image, which I then colored with Copics and Wink of Stella glitter pens.  I used the offset feature on the Cameo to make the shadow panel for the image. Christmas in July Christmas in July Christmas

Happy Day

I've had this Bugaboo image colored for quite awhile now, so today I decided it was time to use it.  I wanted to use my new Anna Griffin embossing folder too.  At first, I didn't have any challenges in mind but after I made the card, I thought I would check Paper Playful to see if it fit any challenge.  I chose both Digi Galore and Wags 'n Whiskers to enter.  Both are Anything Goes and WnW has a DT call.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

I used Stampin' Up yellow cardstock for my base and a piece of Neenah Solar White for the embossed panel.  The image is a digi from Bugaboo.  I colored the image with Copic markers and added a little Wink of Stella brown to the centers of the flowers.  The ribbon is from Michael's.  Bling is from Want2Scrap and colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from Flourishes.  I punched the corners of the sentiment block with the ticket corner punch from Stampin' Up.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the image.

Friday Freebie at DS4J

I'm a little late with this posting, but life got in the way the past few days.  This adorable duck was the Friday Freebie at DS4J.  If you missed it, you can still get it at the online store.  It is free through today (Sunday).

I used some printed paper that I got a long time ago when I purchased my Cricut.  Since I have had the Cameo for over a year, it will give you a little idea of its age.  I have fallen in love with the new Sue Wilson dies I got from Frantic Stamper.  This one is the Filigree 3D Bow.  I used the print and cut feature on my Cameo to cut the image and then colored it with Copics.  The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.  I used sketch #231 from OWH.

DS4J July Christmas Challenge

It is so hard to believe that half of the year has flown by already.  Following this challenge at DigiStamps4Joy, I have made a dent into my Christmas cards though.  The image for this month is "Irresistible Bling."  You can find it in the shop here.

I used some Christmas dp from my scrap stash.  I used the print and cut feature of my Cameo for the digi and then cut an offset from a scrap.  Since I have three cats, I tried to color them like mine, using Copic markers.
