Fun with Peel Off Stickers and Copic Markers

I have a lot of peel off stickers from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Today I decided to use some of them and experiment using Copic markers on them.  I used the silver stickers and Copic RV09.  I pulled out a piece of matching cardstock from my stash of scraps too small to use for large cards.  I used an Inkadinkado stamp from the Best Friends set.

My Busy Afternoon

Linda Howard, the card teacher at Scrapbooking Made Simple in Santa Clarita, California, told us to just sit down and make a card from what is on your table.  Well, I decided to take  her up on that idea and spent the afternoon creating cards from what was within my reach without getting up to get something.  The following cards are what I came up with.

Some Basic Grey out of the scrap heap.  A little ribbon from Michael's and a stamp from My Pink Stamper.

Piece of scrap paper, a stamped sentiment that a friend gave me a long time ago and bling from Michael's

Scrap paper from my stash, ribbon from my stash, , background stamped with VersaMark and Martha Stewart background stamp, Twinkling H20's

Scrap papers, SU stamp image, Hero Arts sentiment, Archival Ink pad, baker's twine

Scrap papers, SU image and Hero Arts sentiment, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad

Now I have to clean up my table and start over again.

OWH #97

Once again, I dug into my scrap box.  I used some Basic Grey, MME and a couple unknown manufacuter's scraps, a Hero Arts stamp and Glaze pens for this card.  It can be a love card, although not a Valentine card.

Thank You

My friend sent me a set of Martha Stewart background stamps as an early Christmas gift.  I used one of the stamps to create the background for this card.  Recollections embossing powder completed the background.  I used the new Sizzix Frame Back #2 for the die cut and a flower made by my local scrap store.  The sentiment stamp is from the dollar bin at Michael's from a couple years ago.

Cards for Archway Challenge with OWH

I submitted these four cards for the Archway Cookie challenge.  I sent 33 cards off.

OWH Sketch #96

This was a really easy card.  I just pulled out my scrap bucket and it all fell into place.  Love, but not specifically Valentine.  It's hard to see the white card background, but it is on a 5.5 by 4.25 card base.

Another Thanksgiving Card

Another Thanksgiving card in a little lighter vein.

I used a Thanksgiving embossing folder for the background and the scalloped Nesties circles.  The stamp is colored with Copics.  Unfortunately I didn't save the packaging for the stamp set.  The leaves are from a package of confetti from Michaels.

Thanksgiving Pumpkins

For this card, I used The Peddler's Pack Pumpkin Bacvkground stamp.  I colored it with Copic Markers and then put Stickles on the pumpkins to make them sparkle.  The stamp is from a set of 4 that I got at Michael's years ago.

OWH #94

I wanted to make a love card, but  not specific to Valentine's Day.  I used a Sizzix embossing folder, Hero Arts flowers and bling from Michaels.
